1.Research and Discovery

Start by understanding the problem the digital product needs to solve. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user studies to understand user needs and desires. Create user personas representing different types of users for the product.

2.Goal Setting and Scope Definition

Set clear goals for the digital product. Define the project scope, including key features and functionalities.

3.Ideation and Conceptualization

Generate ideas for the product design using techniques such as brainstorming, mind mapping, or sketching. Create wireframes or low-fidelity prototypes to visualize the structure and flow of the application. Conduct concept testing to validate ideas with users.

4.Visual Design

Develop the visual appearance of the product, including creating brand identity if necessary. Design high-fidelity mockups representing the final look of the product. Use design tools such as Sketch, Figma or Illustrator.

5.Interactive Prototyping

Convert high-fidelity mockups into interactive prototypes using tools like InVision or Figma. Prototypes allow testing navigation and user interaction before implementation.

6.User Testing

Conduct usability testing with real users to identify issues and areas for improvement in the design. Gather feedback and iterate to improve the product design.

7.Delivery and Development

Collaborate with the development team to ensure faithful implementation of the design. Provide detailed specifications and assets necessary for building the digital product. Perform quality control testing during development to ensure the final product meets design standards.

8.Iteration and Optimization

Collect usage data and user feedback once the product is in production. Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Iterate on the product design to optimize the user experience and achieve set goals.

Initiatives

One of the biggest challenges I have had has been to improve the user experience of our clients.

In LATAM and especially in Spain, as well as in France and a large part of our European pages, the improvement in the content pages reached significant numbers, reflected in the conversion and therefore greater reception of calls to the call center and therefore closure of new clients, both in energy and telecommunications verticals, gas, insurance and self-consumption.

To do this, I created a wall in basecamp with a clear objective, to help content writers, in a practical and simple way, understanding the importance of good UX; with regular posts about UX rules, with a theoretical part, supported by visual elements for a better understanding and examples applied to our pages.
